what is animal abuse?
Animal abuse is when someone hurts and animal, wheather its physical, emotional, neglect, medically, no matter
what, if your hurting the animal its considered abuse.
DONT's
1. NEVER feed your cats or dogs oranges, lemons or any
such citrus fruits. Cats and dogs, when deprived of vitamin C can still live since their body organs can produce it themselves. A citrus fruit contains mainly
Vitamin C and so when fed to cats and dogs will cause them to die/get
very sick from a over-dose of the Vitamin. Normally your pet will NOT
eat such fruits, this test is usually used to see if the animal has rabies.
2. NEVER use shampoo for humans when bathing your pets,
each different kind of animal's fur structure is different so different amount of chemicals are needed, human shampoo contains a lot more chemicals that you would normally use for other pets so will sometimes burn your pets' fur and skin, sometimes it is not that serious but they also may shed their fur
before time, if you have done so, please take your pet to the vet.
as soon as possible for a check-up.
3. If you are afraid of a kind of animal, esp. dogs,
never RUN. Always walk away without looking back at the dog.Especially is the dog is still a puppy, it will think that you are just playing and start chasing after you, never
stare at a dog's eyes too long, it provokes anger.
4. In the summer months, please make it a point to NEVER
leave your pet in a vehicle of an kind. It was cause severe dehydration and can even be fatal. If you have no other choice but to leave him/her, always remember to scroll down the windows a little.
Other things to know:
Even the law is unjust,
if you steal an animal, you are charged
with first degree robbery,
but if you kill one, they are either
small sentences or overlooked. Animals are not just something you can own and then throw
away, they are living and they who what pain is, they are not objects who are simply there for decoration. They are precious and they are very much alive. When they are
there, we find ourselves in happiness. They bring joy into our lives. They help us through our
hardships and they have instincts we humans can and will never master. They are the warm
purrs and tails wagging in welcome after a hard day. Yet, when they are gone, we see what they truly were, they are more than mere animals and have a place in our hearts, especially reserved for them. They are like priceless ornaments,
easy to break, precious and only missed when they are no loner there. The fact is, you have
taken them from their natural habitats, caged them up, taken away their homes and built your own cities on top of where they would have been living gracefully
with nature's balance, you have destroyed what they liked and where God dictated where
they should originally belong. They owe you nothing and should pay you none, you owe them an explanation
as to why you have abused them, taken away their belongings and personal, possessions. You owe them a home after what you did, you owe them a
lot more that you can ever give. Yet they give you love and respect, things you don't even rightfully deserve, and they give
you a lot more, that's because they are forgiving.
